Happy Birthday Mum!

Today is our mum's birthday.  :)  We're celebrating with gluten free (we hope) and a day out.
Just for fun, we thought we'd share a few of our favorite things that make our mum special.

We love the fact that we are all grown up and mum still likes having us live in her house.  Even though some of us forget where we put the towel and leave a mess in the kitchen (Irish Rose), she gets a bit teary when she thinks about us leaving.  It takes a lot of grace and love to be The Mom and live with three adult daughters.

We love her willingness to listen to our problems and her understanding nature.

We enjoy how much she likes to share her adventures with us - whether it is a day trip to shop, an outing for a really good latte, the latest book she liked, or the newest thing she learned.

We are so grateful for all she has taught us.  We wouldn't be able to bake bread, cook a basic meal, plant seeds, pickle carrots, keep a house clean (don't laugh mum!), read, figure out how to sew a skirt, or enjoy music if it were not for the hours of patient instruction she gifted us.

Thank you mum!  We love you!

"Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her".  Proverbs 31:28 (KJV)

  1. Thank you my precious gifts from God. I think you are seeing through 'rose colored glasses' though.
I do love and appreciate all of you.
